Usually I sell microscope stuff which demands a higher standard of shipping apparently. When approached reasonably my response always is:

Hi,
If you are willing to have it shipped in a plain. #10 envelope at standard first class rates I'll ship for $1.10. Normally I use a good quality bubble mailer ($.88 ea) and mail it priority mail ($3.50) and drive it to the post office.e the day the money is received 12 mi round trip @ $.335/mi ($4.02). At the $1.10 rate I drive to the PO once weekly. Hope this helps.

The person who posted the adverse info on the bulletin board DEMANDED a
change AFTER getting a very good deal-- she used THREATS and I don't respond well to that. I haven't been active in chip collecting for several years and simply want to dispose of the remaining parts of my collection.
