I have posted here at length in the past on this issue and won't bore everyone by repeating it all.

However, for a long time I was quite diligent about posting feedback, but never pressed sellers to reciprocate (I got about 75% as many as I posted). Then for awhile I simply stopped participating in the feedback system (got a few anyway).

I seldom buy anything on eBay anymore (and when I do, it's rarely a chip). I do, however, post feedback when I receive the item. I still don't give a damn whether the seller posts feedback for me or not.
