Carrying a backpack full of chips to and from the Palace station show resulted in hand searches in 4 different airports and an explosive scan of the inside of my shoes at O'Hare.
The "swatch" test of the backpack registered explosives, but aparently the inside of my shoes checked out alright.

The worst part of the whole trip was an airport evacuation in St. Louis. We were ready to back away from the gate when two idiots ran through security. All planes were emptied and EVERYONE had to evacuate the airport and then come back through security. What a chaotic circus that was. Four and one half hours later the plane finally took off.
