And I thought we had it bad this morning. 12" of heavy wet snow here near Chicago. I will have to get ready though as we are now expecting freezing rain and a couple more inches this afternoon, evening and tomorrow morning. That is what I heard last night on the weather and just read on nbc5.com . Our utilities are all underground here but the electric, cable and phone in surrounding neighborhoods is above ground. Looking out at the trees they are full enough with heavy snow. This could really turn into a mess before it is over.
