Re: Embracing change
In Response To: Embracing change ()

Nicely put Bill. I'll take your thoughts to heart on this. I never have enough energy to put into grudges but there is a lot of damage to consider. We had members tee off on people who signed a personal pledge and voluteers who felt forced to give up their convention activities when they felt the leadership no longer represented them and tolorated harm to the club and hobby. Let's consider Mark Scott's motives in his slab selling activities compared to what he offers now. I sure would like the scale to balance out but you know that he could have joined the hobby we offered to everyone before slabbing arrived! We've had so many do so much to give us this fine club and make chip collecting a great hobby that we survived Slabhara intact but with a dented fender or two. Mark's desire to join the club isn't paying the bill for repairs but at least the assault from one direction may have ended. Thanks for your words leading in a positive direction Bill.

Still haven't heard from I Can't Grade and seems like there was another carpetbag commercial grading factory setting up their tunnel complex too. SlabFree is still open and ready for business. No burkas for our chips or Bettie either!
