I have cut back on eBay auctions. I am finding sales to be about average as far as quantity of items selling, but I don't see many multiple bids and final sales prices are considerably lower than they were during the summer months, especially before the 11th of Sept.

As the pressure of purchasing gifts for Christmas and then paying for them afterwards settles in, it is common for non essential sales to slow down, usually picking up as we enter spring.

I think another reason that chip sales are a bit sluggish is there are simply too many and not enough bidders. Take a look at the listings that are closing and you will see many no bid items. Rarer chips will always get a response, if priced correctly, but the LE's of sizeable releases are, pretty much, dead in the water, just too many of them out there.
