On the surface that sounds great............BUT, there are easy ways of still stealing the scans. Ask Pete Rizzo, he uses the disable feature & I copied his scan & E-Mailed it to him. That is why I don't bother with what you suggest. Besides, I do not have a problem with collectors being able to have a copy of my scan for their PERSONAL use. I also do not plaster my Web site address on the scan as others do. Collectors want to be able to look at the scan without the distracting text at the bottom. It is when people take the scans to use on their own Web sites or sell on eBay that I have a BIG problem & will continue to let them & others know when I find out about it.
