$1 Landmark (green) chip

Just curious about the book/market value on the $1 green HS Landmark chip.

It's listed in TCR-8 as an "X" value ($600-699), and in C&W-2 as a $300-600-900 value chip. The C&W book show it as rarer than the 1st issue Landmark $1 (the beautiful C&J mold with the building inlay), which is valued in the $400 range in both books.

The Landmark green $1 chip is currently on eBay with a starting minimum of $355 and no bids. See:
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1059677423

The seller has offered it 1 or 2 times previously on 7-day auctions with no bidders. ( To be clear, I have no problem with the auction; don't know the seller.)

I'm assuming that, while this green $1 Landmark is, indeed, scarcer than the $1 C&J inlay, that most collectors would rather have the visually-appealing inlay chip rather than the plainer HS chip, scarcity notwithstanding. I further assume the number of LV $1 collectors willing to pay $355+ for a HOT STAMPED chip is pretty thin, even if it "books" for $600+.

Unless a quantity of these has been found, thus affecting the published values, then the $600+ book value seems difficult to support.

Any comments or competing theories on value for this chip?
