Have to disagree with you on this one.
Show me what positive aspect slabbing can have for this hobby. The answer is NONE.

Chuck, You complain [and rightfully so] that someone is charging $49 for a $1 chip. I would hate to think how much it would be after it was graded and slabbed.
Here you point out 1 greedy individual. When something is slabbed regardless of who does it the cost has to be recovered. Then we would have to complain about everyones price.

In general those of us in this hobby for the purpose COLLECTING all oppose slabbing.

Those of us in this hobby [with few exceptions} that are in it for the money are primarily silent.
