Just happened to be at Greektown Casino, Detroit this morning, when I noticed a purple chip in the rack. Asked the dealer what it was he said nothing new. I asked to see it, and it was this New Year's 2002 chip. No one in the pit or the cage at 8:30 new about it. I did find out it was released somewhere around midnight or 1 this a.m. direct to the tables. Nice looking chip, too bad they put the champagne bottles upside down. We do have a few for sale ($8.00 each) or will trade for other Holiday chips we don't have. Have a safe and happy New Year everyone.
