Has eBay Stopped Allowing The Use of HTML?

I just tried to start an auction on eBay after spending 2 1/2 hours working on creating the HTML for the actual auction page only to find that none of my pictures came up and the background music and background picture doesn't work either. It should be noted that I did test the HTML script on two different websites that I run and both times the background picture and the picture of the item and the midi file ran fine. I have the pictures and midi run on my own website and in the HTML script I have it pointing to the URL address where the pictures and midi are stored.

Does anyone know what is going on? Has stop allowing the use of HTML on their site and if so WHY? It seems for right now the only way for me to create an auction is typing in simple dummy text which unfortunately doesn't allow insertion of pictures nor does it allow space when you hit the enter key to separate the paragraphs.
