Re: Plastic pages for matches??
In Response To: Plastic pages for matches?? ()

Terry,
My personal opinion: I tried using plastic pages once, but didn't like them...matchbooks were too bulky. I now use small plastic bags (like you will often find postcards in), I open the matchbook before putting it in the bag (so it's easy to view inside and out, without a lot of handling). I found small plastic drawer sets at Target that are just big enough to have 2 rows per drawer. BTW, I alternate the direction of the MB's to distrbute the bulk evenly.....e.g. the 1st MB in the drawer will have the matches on the right and facing me, the next book will have the matches on the left and facing away from me.

That system works well for me! grin

For matchcovers without matches, I use the plastic pages that hold 6 covers...or for the "really good" covers (w/o matches) I use the holders that are designed for sportscards-2 plastic pieces with a screw in each corner. Have fun! grin

Merry Christmas! vbg

Pam
