Just one follow-up comment that I believe deserves mentioning. This is one of the very real problems that authors of chip catalogs universally experience when assigning values to chips that suddenly become available in large quantities years after the catalog has been published. I too have recently purchased quite a few PR chips in quantity from the same seller in Puerto Rico.

My Puerto Rico catalog was published back in 1999, and many of the estimated values I've assigned then are obviously very overpriced by today's standards. On the other hand; many Puerto Rico chips are undervalued in that 1999 PR catalog and are worth far more today.

Unfortunately, many better PR chips are now being painted with the same broad brush as being almost worthless in some quarters. Nothing could be further from the truth. I understand that Al Rollins' new PR catalog is expected to be published in time for the 2002 convention. It will be interesting to see what values Albert places on these issues.
