NJP Die cut chips

Yes I am posting. I have these chips with each letter starting first. They were all made in 1926 per Kregg's Guide to the Records of the USPC Co. Yes it is time for speculation. I think there were 3 people involved and when they ordered the chips they had them start with a different initial on each chip. Now all three names would have their name first on a chip. What do you think???? I just talked with Allan M. to explain the difference between Die Cuts and Reverse Die Cuts. You can see the differance between the two on the bottom of my small web page. More speculation. Lets say that all chips made up till the early fortys with any type of inlay were Crest & Seal type chips as per different advertising. Now we could brake that down into types. CREST & SEAL: inlaid lithos (on a plain mold), inlaid HUB's (on a hub mold), inlaid Die Cuts, inlaid Reverse Die Cuts and so on. It looks as though any chip with an inlay before the early 1940's was once advertised as a Crest & Seal. I do like the thought of only inlaid litho chips with a plain border made before the early 1940's called CREST & SEALS. (Sorry this might be a double post.)
