Re: Newspaper article about LaserLock technology

The Palms was not charged for the Laser Lock.
B&G was happy to get a beta test site for the technology.

We bought 130,000 chips from B&G. If we would have paid it would have cost 10¢ per chip = $13,000.

Imagine a casino taking 3 - $5,000 counterfits or 1 - $25,000 counterfit. Some casinos have $100,000 chips.

Asian chip makers are knocking off chips as fast as they can. I just seen some BJ counterfits that were run on Hong Kong casinos. They would have got by me.

B&G now has new technology that goes with the Laser Lock. You can pass a stack of chips over a spot on the table and it will read the entire stack and tell you the denomination of each chip in the stack. It will also tell you if there is a non-chip in the stack.
