If you plan on attending trading sessions, selling at the show or just visiting with chipper friends then the host hotel is an obvious advantage. Staying there also helps out the show operator who has to promise to sell so many rooms to get the showroom. On the other hand a comped room more than makes up for a few dollars in gas spent running between casinos. I like to find the best place at the lowest rate and stay there. I just got an invite from Tropicana for $19 rooms and all of the Circus properties are have specials also.
