I wasn't trying to point at Mel, but the fact that he has found documentation that contradicts the theory that these are counterfeit. However, I did consider the original source, Bill Borland, so that doesn't account for much. grin

It should be interesting finding out how someone could manufacturer the fakes. The multi-part injection mold would take some work. Coin inlays are easier to make, if somene has access to a nice stamping machine.

The story behind these, should make another nice article for the club Mag. What has come out so far about the re-manufacturered brass cores, has been entertaining to follow.
