Of course the next thing to do is to try to track them down. If it is a company that owns a domain (when they send you to their site), you may want to check out the "whois" database and see if you can identify them at http://www.netsol.com/cgi-bin/whois/whois. The database comes with an email address, postal address, and telephone number.

I have also been playing with a program called SpamWeasel at http://www.mailgate.com/products/spamweas/sw_feat.asp. This sits in-line between the mail server and your mail client. so setting it up is a tad tricky, especially with Norton AV (which also sits in-line between the mail server and the ISP). Once you get it running, it is pretty good. Its been very accurate thus far with the default rules. It won't remove the mail, it will change the subject to "SPAM - " and then you can filter it to either trash or a holding area with your mail client. And its free.

Maybe since we are at war, we can get congress to vote that Spam is a treasonable offence and have this guys put up against a wall and shot.
