I met a guy today who said he had about 100 CalNeva $1 tokens and a couple $25 Harrah's tokens he would sell for face value. When I saw them I noticed immediately that they were counterfeit, and very poor counterfeit at that. It looked as if someone had taken an impression of the CalNeva $1 token and somehow impressed that image on both sides to slabs of galvanized metal. When I told him what I thought they were he said, "ridiculous, I played with them in Tahoe and if you want them they are $1 each". A real jerk. Of course I passed.

Just wondering if anyone has seen any of these before. A first time for me.
