Re: Chinook Winds
In Response To: Chinook Winds ()

Well, since no has responded yet, I'll offer the very little I know. I'm not a token collector. I got about ten of the things during the Chinook Winds Chip Show poker tournement last March. Jim Fredrickson, the Chinook Winds guy that put on this great show had a couple of racks of these that he put into the pot, one at a time, on each hand played. Steve "Two Queens" Goodrich got a bunch of them for coming in second. I am guessing that the casino doesn't use these tokens because of their paper script slots and regular dollar chips on the tables but has some in the vault. I haven't a clue to value because I haven't been able to trade or sell one off yet. I do have one of these that earns it way as a good luck coin (it works!). Best way to find a market for these tokens would be eBay,I guess.

May I ask how you acquired one, Bud? I notice from your ISP that you're in the state. BTW, mark the Chinook Winds show on your calender for early March, 2002.
