Re: Susong-Harrah's Tunica VIP Lounge card...

I was in the club when Greg left Monday morning and can vouch that he was only carrying out 3 doughnuts! There was a bulge in his hip pocket, but that was probably his winnings at the tables from the night before at Hollywood [g].

I don't have an upper level Harrahs card, but can report that they were generous with the room comps if you played there. This was undoubtedly the best hotel in Tunica to hold the show at as they are refurbishing rooms and for those that did pay for their own, the $55 a night was a bargain. I suggest that if you visit there and Harrahs offers you a handicap room, you ask for something else though, as the baths have been stripped of all counter space to make room for wheelchair manuvering. My replacement room was fine.

The show went off great, except for the fire alarm that threatened to evacuate the show room when Greg started cooking burgers at his table [g]. As with most shows held in a ballroom, the lighting is barely adequate for inspecting chips and tokens. The smart dealers brought their own desk lamps to clamp to the table... tip for any of you planning to take a table at any future show.

Thanks again for doing a Mississippi show, Jim! Was my first opportunity to visit the clubs at Tunica. I'll try to post a trip report in a day or two for those who also have not have the pleasure of seeing the riverboats south of Memphis.
