I corrected him & told him we are talking about it on the chip board. El Rancho opened Apr. 3, 1941. Burned 1960. I had personally about 3,000 of these $5 chips made in 1950. Nearly all were used & fire damaged in some way. About 80 were nice with great gold hot stamps.
These chips in 1989 put me in business. I traded away a lot to get others. Now have lots of chips.
I had 6,000 total with lots of burned up $5 cord mold last issues too. Very few $25 cords. Most were burned. Also some $100 large crowns were mixed in, about 150. This is from 1948. Nearly all were warped. I run this stuff on Ebay from time to time. I sold most years ago.
