Back safe and sound. Left yesterday afternoon from Tunica at 3pm after the show on Friday and got in to Orlando at 8am this morning. Hated to leave so early but had to be back at work on Monday. Show was great! Got to meet everyone Thursday night at the Trade Session and never stopped chipping from there. Between the Biloxi and Tunica Chip run and then the Show, I can easily say I added 200+ chips to my collection. Couple of quick thank you's.
Pete Sanders and Archie Black -Thank you for taking time out and being patient with all of my dumb new guy questions on Slabbing. I am proud to be the newest member of the SlabFree Chapter.
Howard Kaplan - Not only are you my local chip guy but a very knowledgeable chipper. Thank you for taking me "under your wing" and for the Cruise Ship Chip education!
Belgium Bob - Thank you very much for taking care of my Jeton fix and for the European Chip education! I love my new additions and first Plaque! Looking forward to seeing you in Vegas!
Greg Susong - What can I say! Thank you for introducing me to everyone and making me feel welcome. It was nice to finally meet you.
I am terrible with names and I know I am leaving out so many. Mark Lighterman and "Mom", Todd D and wife, Mr. Kruse, Janice O'Neil and husband, Biloxi Steve, and so many others. I feel my Chip Education has grown in leaps and bounds. I think the biggest thing I took home from the Show wasn't just chips, it was the feeling of being a part of NOT just a hobby, but a Chip Family. I look forward to meeting the rest of the "family" in Vegas in 2002!
