Hi Paul,
First, make sure that there are no cracks or chips, which make the chips almost worthless.
Second, if there is no numeral or design, other than concentric circles or a colored rim, they are usually not worth over $10-20 each.

Most floral designs are worth $25-50 each.
If they have a denomination, 5 or 25, they are worth at least $30-35 each and many are worth much more.
Usually, denominations such as 1, 10, 50, 100 are worth more than a "5" or "25".
Usually larger chips are worth more than smaller ones, which are the size of a quarter or half dollar. The more valuable sizes are at least 39 mm or silver dollar size.
Usually, the more elaborate the scrimshawing, the more value.
