I was wondering if the star design on the two chips pictured below was applied as part of the original production or was it done to cancel them. Or were they some surplus Cal-Neva chips stamped this way. Anybody know the story? Looking at them closely, it looks like the "Cal-Neva Club Reno Nev" was applied first and then the star stamped on top of that. I've got the fuschia and purple chips without the star on top of them.
