Hey everybody,

I've pretty much been away from the board because of this pending move. I can honestly say moving has been one of the most stressful events in my life!

Anyway, I've FORCED myself to take a little break over the last couple of days, and, as a result, have had a chance to read a few messages. (Not all of the 1400+ messages since my last visit, though!)

It felt really good to read everything. Like I was home again. I know that by definition we're chippers, and this is a chip board. But I'm sure we all realize that there is so much more to this than little pieces of clay and plastic. I've met many great folks through this hobby, and I know many more through the Internet.

Bob, I'm very sorry to hear that you've left us. I, for one, will miss you're middle name du jour. Rene, I'm sorry I missed the show. Just too damned busy, even though I'm only 11 miles away. Katie, you're still the best! Jim Reilly, what's up with my shirt? Why haven't you cashed my check or returned my email? Rick, where the hell are my license plates? Rose, sorry, I didn't get a chance to get you that card. Bruce, I lost $50 bucks getting that Ernie's slot card you showed. It's all your fault!! Todd, I can't believe you'd move back to Mississipi just to get out of helping me move! What nerve! Murph, where is the latest picture of David? Larry, are your auctions still better than Ralph's? Bob, I still can't figure out how to get cute little devils in my messages. Archie, I just read a quote from you in an article dated 1991. Found it while packing my garage. Andy, can you handle this new zip code thing without me?

Whew. I feel much better. OK, gotta get back to packing. The move keeps getting pushed back, which is really a good thing. I survived the Aladdin layoffs, but I've taken two weeks off so I can get moved. Unfortunately, a lot of good people were let go.
