Jill.....this former New Yorker for 69 years and Independent voter, is proud of our President(there is no Party label attached to patriotism), Rudy G.the Nation's Mayor, and my fellow Americans.
I can recite Franklin Roosevelt's speech to congress asking for a delcaration of war on December 8th 1941. I was glued to the radio when he delivered it, and my teacher made us all memorize it. I thought it was the greatest inspirational speech ever. I guess after last night, it is the second greatest. "With confidence in our armed forces, with the unbounding determination of a free people, we can and will gain the inevitable triumph, so help us God" Amen. God bless America.
