Hello everyone. I would like to place up for auction on this board a group of $5 chips (7 from Canada, and 2 from the US).

For those of you that don’t know me I live in Canada. I would like everyone to know that we too, have been deeply impacted by this tragedy. I would like to do my part for this cause. I will send these chips to the highest bid as of Thursday 9:00pm eastern time. There is no reserve. I pay the shipping. I ask that you make your payment directly to the Red Cross (not to me). I offer this as a sign of trust – which is something that we all need to believe in right now.

The chips below are worth face value. The top chip “Casino Windsor” does have value to me however. It is an LE from when Casino Windsor first opened in 1994. It was to celebrate the “Freedom Festival” in the Detroit / Windsor area. The Freedom Festival is a celebration of the strong ties between Canada and the US. My father gave it to me when he came to visit me at my first day of work (in the real world) at that Casino. This chip was part of my collection – not a trader. I hope that the winning bidder looks upon this chip as a symbol of friendship and support of our two nations.
