Re: I'll be danged if I can figure out

First thing you need to do is make sure that the size of the image isn't too big. I find that a 320 x 240 is sufficiant for a good pic. A little smaller is also good. In some image editing software reduce the size of the picture if necessary.

After that check out on the first page of The ChipBoard for the link to "File Upload". There you will select the file on your computer that you want to upload and you will upload it to The ChipBoard. You will be given the URL for the image and will place the name of your image in place of the last part of the URL. Place the URL in the Optional Image URL box below your message.

http://www.chipguide.com/tcbuploads/dog.PDD.gif This is the URL that is attached to your image. You are appearently familiar with the uploading of your image but there is a problem with your URL. Note that you have 2 extensions. .PDD and .gif . I did find a dog.jpg in tcbuploads. I can't get that to display though. Check your file types etc and make sure that your file on your computer matches the one on TCB. If your image is .jpg then the image should read in the URL as,( ..../tcbuploads/... .jpg) . When you are given the URL after you upload, I would highlight and paste that into the image URL box. Then just erase the last part and replace it with the name of the file that you uploaded. If say a file on your computer is c:/mydocuments/myphotos/xyz.jpg , then that file would appear on TCB as xyz.jpg . You would simply exclude everything before that The final name for the example above then would appear http://www.chipguide.com/tcbuploads/xyz.jpg
