I would agree with you about the point you make about not responding to him. If we all kept the responses at least to a minimum or to 0, if possible, that might take his fun away. However your comment about IP numbers is misguided. It is not that simple. If you filter out or shun a IP number you are potentially eliminating over a dozen people here on The ChipBoard that also use AOL. Also, You will not necessarily get rid of him. The problem is this. Every time you sign off, and sign back on you get a new IP number. Unless you are using DSL or Cable Modem and are always online you are a moving target. You would then have to filter or ignore entire blocks of numbers and that will shun every AOL member on this board. I use AOL as an example since this person uses that service. However, as was mentioned this holds true for many other ISPs or free services on the net. As an example, I am going to send this and sign off. I will sign back on.
