Letter from friend from his nephew

Hi Brian,

My nephew Ross (Rose Mary's son) was caught up in all the falling debris. He works just 1 block from where the Trade Centers where. He just made it home last night to his wife in Long Island.

I talked on the phone with him "Uncle Buck it was real scary, when collapse came we thought we were running fast enough but it caught us. All of a sudden it was dark and all this dust was everywhere, I thought I was going to die as I had a hard time breathing. We broke down a window in a deli and went to the basement to escape but the debris found it's way down to the basement also. We decided to get out of the basement and again went back out on the street, I started to puke and lost the people from work that I was with. I decided to run for the light I could see that was pretty far away. In my haste I ran over an Asian girl, I feel bad now as there were so many people running that I never saw her again and wanted to help her. By the time I got to fresh air I was exhausted. I was covered with inches of soot and had to have my eyes, nose and mouth washed out. My lungs were burning. After a while I called Jen and Mom and told them I was OK and not to worry and that I was going to my buddy's apartment on 34th Street. I am going to the Doctor's tomorrow as I still am having some problems with my breathing. I'm real lucky!"

Unreal.
