I don't know of a soul that was asked for any input on this decision.
I think the majority of the membership will agree that the only reason this issue was re visited was because of the "List" and the anti-slab movement.

With 400 signators on the "List" compared to approximately 700+ that even bothered to vote in the national election, we are recognized as force to be reckoned with.
I personally feel that before the second vote it was already decided to throw as a bone to keep us quiet.
