There's a new website that allows collectors to show off their collections. It's called whatacollection.com.

Here's the sales pitch: (Their words, not mine)

"We all know that collectors love to show off their collections, particularly to other collectors. Now, some astute folks have set up a website where one can do just that! Working on the premise that collecting isn't ALL just buying and selling, they've set up a pay site on which, for a $20/year membership fee, one may display up to 20 photos of one's most prized possessions. No collection is too wacky or off-the-wall to be shown on Whatacollection.com. A scanner isn't necessary, as photos can be sent to the site for retouching and loading.
No commerce is done here... just looking. Check out this week's Collection of the Week, which happens to be jigsaw puzzles, and see how this site works. The home page also includes the usual array of extras, like neat links, fun facts, collector-related jokes and laughs, and current news of the collecting world. Whatacollection.com is a pretty ingenius idea, and although relatively new, already has a considerable following."

I checked it out. Some nice stuff. There is one guy that has, and is looking for, old casino matchcovers.
