First let me say that about a year and a half ago I purchased a $1 Four Queens aerodie in near mint condition and paid top dollar for it. I always try to get chips in the best condition available. If this story is true I will never be able to get my money back if I sold the chip.

While I understand how Todd felt hearing about the chips and not being able to obtain any from the cage (I would feel the same way) I don't think that the casino is required to resell the chips at face to anyone who happens to be there at the time. If Mark Karoll was able to obtain the chips through his position at the casino, more power to him. It's called BEING IN THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME. How many of you would turn around and resell the chips at face?

Like I said, If I was there I would want the casino to sell me the chips at face. But as a matter of fact they are under no obligation to do so.
