As many of you are aware, there is an ongoing investigation by our club of one or more chip dealers who are suspected of selling counterfeit chips, apparently brass core. No suspects have been named and the investigation seems to be moving very slowly, which is very bad for collectors. I feel a speedy resolution of this matter is needed with full public disclosure. Having a secret investigation drag on leaves collectors not knowing which dealers are ethical and makes it appear the club is more concerned with protecting corrupt dealers than protecting the chip collectors.
