Just wanted to set the record straight on this particular chip.

Apparently Bruce feels ripped off. I mean the man doesn't know me and has never spend a dollar with me. Maybe on ebay once . I don't even know the guy. All I know is when I got kicked out of Bill's show him and janice where selling the tickets there. I didn't notice him and I don't knwo why he always attacks me. I know you are great friends with bill and janice but because they hate me don't judge me. And next time you feel ripped off lets make a deal first and then give me your opinion.

Anyway about the chip .

Got a call from another local casino collectibles dealer, Saturday night around 9pm. He just got a call from this guy Jeff Ross. He has some chips for sale. Seposly they are old chips from vegas from the 40's . So we decide we want to meet up with him. We told him tomorrow morning and he said nope he wants to sell them tonite he needs the money. Not this guy lives right there behind fremont street in the real bad of town. So we really didn't wanna go there. We ask the guy too meet us somewhere and he tells us he is a drunk and doesn't go out. He will be drinking for the next 3 days. Now I am not kidding or bad mouthing him , i just want you too see what kind of person he is. So of course we wanna see the chips. You know when you get that call you just have to go look at em at all costs. So we actually decide to go down there. We even took a gun with us because we really didn't wanna be there. And that wasn't a safe place to hang out at night. We call him when we get there and he come out to the door. Shows us 10 chips. he says we can have 8 of them . We asked him where do they come from . He said he was selling them for a old lady friend. Her husband died and always had em. Never mention anything about the thrift store. He swears 10 is all he has. And he thinks the are players club. And knows they are really valuable. So we think and figure 10 cents large crown can be ided and is a good chance to be from nevada. So we take a chance because we just made some other big finds and made good money. We pay the man almost 800 for the 8 chips. On a hunch. We take a risk. We were even jokeing around on the way home maybe they turn out to be from the pioneer club. We started talking about what if we did make a score. Now we didn't buy all and that is not good. Because that is how story's start. So we knew the guy was strapped for cash. So we decided to call him the next day and offer him another $225 for the other chips. And of course he took it. Now we did the research and they actually turned out to be from the pioneer club. We made a score. Then we decided what to price the chip. And we thought $475 was cheap. And it still is. now with 24 known it would be a rarity 7. And other pioneer hot stamps from that era rarity 7 go for about the same price. Now we list it on ebay. And he sees all the info. I guess gets upset. We took a risk and won. But if it woulda been a UFO or not from nevada he wouldn't of given us a refund.

So about 3 weeks go by and one of my customers calls me . Did you see that Pioneer club chip on ebay for $190. I was in shock . They guy says he only has one . So I email him and ask him about it. Guess what it turns out to be jeff ross. I call him and asks him what the story is. He told us he lied and didn't sell us all chips. There are really 24 out there. He said did you think i was stupid and give you all. And that really upset me because if there is one thing I hate it is when people lie to me. Then he says he just posted one on ebay for $190 but he thinks it will go for $450 since i want $475. Then he tells me he wants me to sell the rest for $350 per chip and I have to take them all . If i don't take em he told me he will start em all on ebay at $9.99.
I hung up the phone on him at that point.

So if i get screwed there is nothing I can do about it. All i can do is tell you as much as I know about the chip.

Pete Rizzo just sold a awsome FQ 25 chip. There are only 4 known if someone shows up with a box tomorrow is he a rip off ????? Of course not.

BTW i talked to my customers and had no complaints. They still think at $475 with 24 chips know its still a fair price. And they bought a lot in the past from me and had no problem with it. And guess what next time I make a find and they need something they will get a lot better of deal because , I feel bad about this. Nobody wanted their money back. They loved the chip. There is one more guy I need to talk to at the Club Meeting. I don't have any way of contacting him. And if he wants his money back he will get it.

I know the oneals and akeman hate my guts because I am doing my show. And you are close with them. But you please quit attacking me. You don't know me and you have never done business with me. If someone is unhappy when doing a deal with me . My first words out of my mouth are do you want to return the item and get a refund. So before you make public attacks just email and ask.

All this heckling on the board has too stop. You just seem to love to take staps at people. I guess if that makes you feel better so be it. I always liked you . You come to me at the Hard Rock line and shake my hand and say hi. But Then you do this. If you keep on doing this then just quit talking to me. Because I don;t like fake friendships. But I would rather keep our friend ship alive.
But I can't take this hackling anymore. I don't want negativity part of my life.

I am very busy trying to make my show the best it can be. Last show we had over 800 attendance and our goal is 1000 for this show.
