California lottery pool

I have been asked by several people to sponsor another California Lottery pool.

If any non-resident Californian is interested in participating, please make any comment/suggestion.

California has drawings twice a week--Wednesday and Saturday evenings. People are allowed to buy up to 20 drawings in advance (approximately 2 1/2 months worth at one time.)

I was told, although I didn't understand why, that the chances of winning are just as good if one buys 5 tickets as 1 ticket. In any case, my thought is to have everyone contribute $20.00 each ($1.00 per drawing for 20 weeks.)

It is expected that some monies will be won during the 20 drawings. This money can be distributed in one of two ways:

#1 either use the money to buy additional tickets after the original 20 drawings conclude, or

#2 return the money to the participants (a self addressed self stamped envelope will be required.)

If any large winnings happen to occur, all taxes will be deducted and paid immediately before any winnings are distributed.

All numbers will be posted prior to the first drawing and the same numbers (drawn at random) will be used for the entire 20 drawings.

DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY AS YET. I must see if enough people are interested, however, if this is a go, then I would like the money a.s.a.p as I can forsee a hugh outlay of cash. By the way, in case anyone is interested, everyone paid their share for the last lottery pool. Thanx to all.

Remember, our odds of winning the "big one" are 41 million to 1. This $20.00 must be discretionary income, meaning you do not need it for necessary expenses.
