One of the best things about The Chip Board is the chip ID's. Especially the posts by Gene Trimble. May I make a suggestion? Somewhere in the post list the initials that appear on the chip. This would make the archives easily searchable. For example: instead of just asking for an ID on the chip shown below, I would ask for an ID on the SBC chip. No quotation marks, just the letters that are on the chip. In six months, should another collector want an ID, (s)he could do an archive search for: SBC.

BTW, I'm trying to ID this SBC chip for a friend. It has been suggested that this chip may be from the San Bruno (California) Card Room. TGT lists chips from this card room as sqsqdia mold. Does anyone have any information? The dates of operation of this card room would be appreciated as TGT doesn't list them. Thanks in advance, and sorry about the large scan.
