First of let me say these are not things I have heard but my own expierences.

Steve Cutler and Me decided to go check out Bill's Chip Show. We also took with us a brand new collector who just got in the hobby about 2 months ago. And he wanted to see what it is all about.

We arrived at Arizona Charlies and immdeiatley started meeting chippers and dealers and where talking with them. So we decided to go to the new show floor.

We walked in the door and Janice was working as the cashier. We said " Hi Janice " and got no reply. The same second she turned around and yelles to a girl " Go Get Bill, Go Get Bill "

I was shocked. People started looking at us. Bill came over to us to talk to us. Next to him his security guard with her gun straped to her waist. Not looking to friendly. By now most people where looking in this direction because the room is pretty small people saw what was going on. People told us we have to leave we are not allowed to be in here. We asked him why not. He said because of our differences. So we asked what differences. He said he will not discussed that with us and we need to leave. The whole time we behaved like gentelman and spoke on a normal tone by the way. So I said you advertised in the RJ classifieds that this show is open to the public and we are public. He said leave now. So I said this is a new collector we brought him here to meet some of the dealers and pick up some supplies. Bill told us he doesn't care and we need to leave now. So we turned around and walked out the door. Later we talked to people like Rick Olsen and Doug Saito , Doug Deems , Jack Jenkins and a few more and they all told us they couldn't believe what just happended. I couln't still believe it.

I mean look at the picture.

Steve Cutler : Founder of the Hall of Fame, the largest display in the world on the subject of vegas casino items.

Rich Burgel : COnvention Advertising Chairman for the CC>CC for 2 years now. And also a long time club member.

Lou Lucci : A gentelman that has been collecting Casino items before I even was born. And one of the nicest guys in the hobby.

Steve Zacchi : A man who has a lot of respect on this board and in the hobby. A man that was gonna devote almost 6 hours of his time today to the Local Club Table and to the Slabfree Table.

Rene Nezhoda : I have done a lot for the club. Including writing a book, promoting a show. Doing the club publicity for the show for one year. And a long time member of the club.

And there was our new friend he just wanted to become a part of the hobby. Get to know some people.

But we all got kicked out and humiliated in public. I was steaming but calm. I could not believe my own eyes. I talked to some of the dealers that we meet outside. And they said the show was kinda slow. Now Steve Cutler never attended a show and spend less than $2000 in chips. He had over $5000 with him because he was in a buying mood. Now If I was a dealer I would be pretty upset that the promoter would turn a customer like that away. And We all know rich is always looking for more stuff for his store. And I have been known to buy a few things.

What is the Aftermath :

Well Steve was steaming more than I was. He felt very humiliated. And he called his lawyer. He told me that he will sue 110%. He will not let Bill get away with this one. Rich Burgel also told me that he will Probably take Legal actions against Bill.

On my part. I am not much for the sueing game. But I will consider it a possibility also. But My main goal is to make my show better than ever. I wanted to see what I was up against. Bill's new show room is about 25% the size of my showfloor. So my show will be a lot bigger. And We will actually advertise the show. And we will make it the #1 show in the city. And at my show. Everyone is welcome. No matter if i like them or not. No matter if what they wanna collect. My doors will even be open to Bill and Janice.
