IMO, they are very good chips, only 100 red made. I have all 3 colors.

40/8 is an organization similar to the VFW.
Stands for 40 men or 8 mules.
That is what the old French railroad cars would hold in WWI

JJJ - Eldorado club was on Billy Goat Hill in the 1950's, Desoto County MS. The chips were actually delivered to Memphis, TN.
Jake Silverstein - Jessie Shoemaker-Johnny Eichorn
I have a newspaper article about it somewhere.

The Arkansas boys are saying the HSC is Hot Springs Club. GI is for just what you think it would be, GI. They say some soldiers took over the Southern Club after the big raids. I think this one is Iffy.
Southern Club ASSN is Hot Springs.

Merchants Club - Newport, KY Martin Miller, Joe Berman, Red Masterson.

R-Riviera - West Palm Beach, FL 1930's-50's
Rising Sun- Vinton, LA-IFFY - I am sending this one for the ID
