The battle lines have been drawn and the war has begun! While I respect both Jim K. and Gene T. for their decisions, I have to disagree with them for one reason only.....the members, good members and 350+ SLABFREE members are being hurt by their decisions not to be a part of next years convention in the posts they seem to LOVE and give their all year after year for FREE!!
Do you think for one minute the pro-slabbers (whoever they may be) give a hoot if these individuals continue in their posts at the convention or not?? Of course they don't and by these fine gentlemen doing what they did, the slabbers won this battle and the rest of the members of the club lost!
We now see division in our club and elsewhere! Two shows for the superbowl....come on we all know this is a chance to choose sides!! Which show will the dealers buy a table at??....who's show will a buyer attend??....we'll keep score and and tally up the armies later!!! Again, not good for the members, good members and this time prospective NEW members to the club!
Will this issue along with a few other controversial issues conquer the CLUB?? Only time will tell but from what I seem to be reading here, the prospects for survival do not seem promising.
