Dick - I have stored my personal collection of
chips in both the 2 x 2 and 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 cardboard flips for more than 10 years . I then put the cardboard flips into the plastic pages for storage . Next the plastic pages go into a vinyl binder . And most importantly - then I store the binders in a cool location where the temperature does not exceed 65 to 70 degrees .
Heat can be a "killer" to any chips stored this way . I've never had a problem with over 12,000 chips stored in this way over the last 10 years .
