TCR is the most complete comprehensive guide to NV chips... a MUST have book. If you are going to collect NV chips - I can't see how one can do without one.

I also have the 2001 Official Price Guide - for me - it is ANOTHER "must have" book - it extends beyond NV and DOES have pictures as Mark explained. I find it a very "user friendly" book because I am still learning my molds and "colors" - it is also less cumbersome to carry. I tuck it in my beach bag (don't ask! ) when I go swap meeting... and usually toss it into the back seat when I go chipping.

I won't list the other 6 books I have - or the 15 I still need - but depending on what YOU want to collect - IMHO these two books make fine contributions to the beginning chipper's library.
