Different programs work different ways. Some won't catch the virus until the file is opened. Some will catch it as the E-Mail is being downloaded. The bottom line is that whatever anti-virus program a person does use is that it WILL catch the virus. In Norton's case it seems it is not catching it all the time. As to how you set "what would you like to do with this file"? that is a good question. I THINK when you first start using Outlook Express the box comes up & you can then check it. If you don't then it never comes up again. Maybe someone else here will have an answer. Andy - Las Vegas
