that when a pair shows up, and if there are three to a Royal, it will recommend holding the pair (going for a set or better) and not the Royal.

Pam (my wife) had a machine deal a flush (with four to a royal) and it recommended holding the five card flush. She over-rode the suggestion and drew the Royal. It was a dollar machine for a very nice reward!
