... will not be until August 31 through September 9. She's coming up for the two opening games of Cal's football season (September 1st against Illinois and September 8th against BYU). If you and Peggy would like to attend either game, let me know and I'll get some extra tickets.

Busy between now and then --- tomorrow through Sunday doing the Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk (this year my daughter & I are crew volunteers rather than walkers, while youngest son Sean will walk again). First two weekends in August I will travel to Southern California as Glenda has grandchild sitting duties. Then off to Syracuse for a short visit the third weekend in August. The last weekend is #1 son's birthday.

BTW, do you play golf? Glenda has me hooked on that, too. Got my first ever birdie weekend before last (3 on a par 4 by reaching the fringe of the green in two and rolling in a short chip/putt). This past weekend shot a 78 on a par 59 course in Newport Beach (including 4 pars). Now I have: my own (used) clubs & bag, a new pull cart, new golf shoes and a collection of 12 logo golf balls!!
