Several weeks ago Pam and I were in AC. We stopped by both Harrah's properties (Marina and Showboat). When we got home we had mailers from both places wanting us to come back. The Showboat wanted us to come in and get the Gold upgraded to Platinum. But it was too far to travel.

This weekend we were at two other Harrah's properties (Laughlin and Las Vegas). At Laughlin I asked for a new card and look what they printed out! While in Las Vegas, I again asked for a new card, and got another Diamond card and interestingly enough, they gave me two Gold cards. I asked about the Gold cards and was told to use them in the machines, as the Diamond Card would not work.

I asked why and was told, the Diamond cards should not be accidently left laying around. If someone finds it, they can raid the gift shop for a 30% discount and possibly use any Rewards points. Also, the Diamond card provides access to the Diamond Room, a special area with couches, snacks, and TV's, for when you need to take a break from gaming. Meanwhile, at Laughlin they printed me two Diamond cards and no Gold cards and made no mention of a Diamond Room.

BTW-I masked my club member number. And lastly, Pam earned the credits, I "go-fer" the cards!
