In the interim, however, I can say with certainty that there are a substantial number of different "off-color", "remanufactured" or repaired brass core chips which have been produced by more than one person (I know of at least three people who have already produced them) and introduced into the hobby.

I will be including a complete list (or at least as complete as I can make it) when I submit my final report to the club board. Suffice it to say for now that, as far as I have already determined, these chips include denominations ranging from $1 to $100 and are from several different casinos (Ranch House, Crystal Bay, Harrah's, Silver Smith's & Ramada Reno).

The total number of such chips produced to date is at least 80 and probably in excess of 100.

CAVEAT EMPTOR regarding brass cores (especially any "off-color" chips represented as "overruns" or "batch changes") pending development of further information. ----- jim o\-S
