Re: Suggestion of support for JP auctions

Duke, I wish JP as you call them, much success with their attempt to launch a new venture, but I don't quite see where (in your words) JACKPOT HAS PUT FORTH ALOT OF TIME AND EXPENSE TO BENEFIT OUR HOBBY. I do believe they have put forth a lot of time and effort, but it is for their own benefit. What have they done for the hobby?

Possibly I have missed something here, but there are many dealers and entrepreneurs, who are trying to do the same thing but in their own way. We have loads of people in our club expending a lot of time and money with no expectation of a return on their investment that receive very little thanx from the rest of us. These people need to be supported as well.

I was also the beneficiary of the free gift they offered and am very appreciative of it, however, I deemed it as a promotional item.

Personally, I tend to patromize the business that I feel gives me the best deal for the buck and at present, it seems that ebay answers that quest.

In addition, I have tried in the past to log on Jackpot Auctions and keep on getting error messages with my computer finally shutting down. I finally gave up as I don't want to ruin my computer. If Jackpot Auctions succeeds and they make it easy for me to log on to it, then I might visit their site from time to time.
