I love these chips so much I just had to show them off! I acquired these beauties while on the Ocean Princess cruise ship to Alaska earlier this month. I've been told that this will be the LAST year that the Ocean Princess will be in full operation in the United States. In 2002 the two year old cruise ship will be transferred to Princess Cruise Lines sister cruise line P&O in the United Kingdom and renamed the Oceana. One of the casino stewards told me that they cannot use these chips once the ship moves to the United Kingdom and that when the Ocean Princess is placed out of commission all of the remaining chips and tokens in the casino vault will be taken out, destroyed and replaced with new chips and tokens with the Oceana name and in British Sterling Pounds.
